WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA share price has zoomed 14% and is presently trading at Rs 2,093.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 58,858.2 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Blue Star (up 2.6%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 1.5%).

ORIENT ELECTRIC (down 0.6%) and CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (down 0.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA has moved up from Rs 1,453.1 to Rs 2,093.7, registering a gain of Rs 640.6 (up 44.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,324.6 to 58,858.2, registering a gain of 39.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 157.5%), Blue Star (up 115.6%) and Voltas (up 97.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,566.6 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are HCl Tech. (down 0.7%) and TCS (down 0.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ICICI Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,841.5 (down 0.1%). TATA STEEL 2% CCPS and Tech Mahindra are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,566.6, registering a gain of 15,596.6 points (up 24.8%).

WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA Financial Update...

WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA net profit grew 24.7% YoY to Rs 795 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 637 million a year ago. Net sales rose 3.7% to Rs 17,340 million during the period as against Rs 16,727 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA reported 60.5% decrease in net profit to Rs 2,240 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,674 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 7.6% to Rs 66,677 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 118.4.
