TEXMACO RAIL share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 220.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,712.6 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GMR Infra (up 3.1%) and V GUARD IND. (up 2.7%).

Bharat Forge (down 2.3%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TEXMACO RAIL has moved up from Rs 77.8 to Rs 220.7, registering a gain of Rs 142.9 (up 183.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 39,563.3 to 72,712.6, registering a gain of 83.8% during the last 12 months.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,864.9 (up 0.6%). Reliance Ind. and Bharti Airtel are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,678.5, registering a gain of 15,708.5 points (up 24.9%).

TEXMACO RAIL Financial Update...

TEXMACO RAIL net profit grew 178.6% YoY to Rs 417 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 150 million a year ago. Net sales rose 37.0% to Rs 11,446 million during the period as against Rs 8,353 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, TEXMACO RAIL reported 5.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 115 million compared to net profit of Rs 122 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 38.3% to Rs 22,433 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TEXMACO RAIL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 91.6.
