VST Tillers Gains 4%; BSE AUTO Index Down 0.8%

VST Tillers share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 4,268.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO index is at 56,919.2 (down 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE AUTO index today are Escorts (up 1.4%) and Bosch (up 1.0%).

M&M (down 2.1%) and TVS Motors (down 1.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, VST Tillers has moved up from Rs 2,798.7 to Rs 4,268.0, registering a gain of Rs 1,469.4 (up 52.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO index has moved up from 33,985.6 to 56,919.2, registering a gain of 67.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE AUTO index stocks during this same period were Motherson Sumi (up 128.4%), Cummins India (up 113.7%) and Bajaj Auto (up 106.0%).

The BSE Sensex is at 78,678.5 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Reliance Ind. (up 4.2%) and Bharti Airtel (up 3.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Reliance Ind..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,864.9 (up 0.6%). Reliance Ind. and Bharti Airtel are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,678.5, registering a gain of 15,708.5 points (up 24.9%).

VST Tillers Financial Update...

VST Tillers net profit fell 12.5% YoY to Rs 351 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 402 million a year ago. Net sales declined 15.2% to Rs 2,734 million during the period as against Rs 3,226 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, VST Tillers reported 7.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 924 million compared to net profit of Rs 993 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 17.9% to Rs 10,064 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VST Tillers, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 30.3.
