Tata Consumer Products share price has plunged 8% and is presently trading at Rs 1,008.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 22,050.4 (down 1.0%).

Among the top losers in the BSE FMCG index today are GODREJ AGROVET (down 1.5%) and Gujarat Ambuja (down 1.4%).

Gillette India (up 1.1%) and Dabur (up 0.6%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Tata Consumer Products has moved up from Rs 896.6 to Rs 1,008.7, registering a gain of Rs 112.1 (up 12.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 19,064.5 to 22,050.4, registering a gain of 15.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 206.0%), BOM.BURMAH (up 124.5%) and RADICO KHAITAN (up 77.8%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,066.1 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Kotak Bank (down 4.3%) and Indusind Bank (down 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,772.3 (down 0.3%). Kotak Bank and BPCL are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,428.1 to 81,066.1, registering a gain of 14,638.0 points (up 22.0%).

Tata Consumer Products Financial Update...

Tata Consumer Products net profit grew 0.0% YoY to Rs 3,593 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3,592 million a year ago. Net sales rose 12.9% to Rs 42,145 million during the period as against Rs 37,338 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Tata Consumer Products reported 3.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 13,010 million compared to net profit of Rs 13,465 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 10.3% to Rs 152,059 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Tata Consumer Products, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 79.4.
