SINGER INDIA share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 92.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 58,780.2 (down 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 4.7%) and ORIENT ELECTRIC (up 2.9%).

VAIBHAV GEMS (down 2.7%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (down 2.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SINGER INDIA has moved up from Rs 74.2 to Rs 92.0, registering a gain of Rs 17.9 (up 24.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,324.6 to 58,780.2, registering a gain of 38.9% during the last 12 months.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,874.9 (up 0.7%). Reliance Ind. and Bharti Airtel are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,679.8, registering a gain of 15,709.8 points (up 24.9%).

SINGER INDIA Financial Update...

SINGER INDIA net profit grew 832.0% YoY to Rs 23 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3 million a year ago. Net sales declined 1.0% to Rs 1,135 million during the period as against Rs 1,146 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SINGER INDIA reported 45.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 45 million compared to net profit of Rs 83 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 7.6% to Rs 4,254 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SINGER INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 125.2.
