VA TECH WABAG share price has zoomed 9% and is presently trading at Rs 1,326.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,680.2 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GMR Infra (up 4.1%) and V GUARD IND. (up 2.7%).

Bharat Forge (down 1.6%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (down 1.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, VA TECH WABAG has moved up from Rs 485.9 to Rs 1,326.1, registering a gain of Rs 840.2 (up 172.9%).

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,874.9 (up 0.7%). Reliance Ind. and Bharti Airtel are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,672.7, registering a gain of 15,702.7 points (up 24.9%).

VA TECH WABAG Financial Update...

VA TECH WABAG net profit grew 167.1% YoY to Rs 776 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 1,157 million a year ago. Net sales rose 0.8% to Rs 9,342 million during the period as against Rs 9,269 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, VA TECH WABAG reported 91.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 109 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,321 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 0.6% to Rs 29,605 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VA TECH WABAG, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 31.7.
