GITA RENEWABLE share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 184.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 28,682.8 (up 0.6%).

Among the top losers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are GAIL (down 1.2%) and Petronet LNG (down 0.7%).

Reliance Ind. (up 2.0%) and GUJARAT GAS (up 1.5%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, GITA RENEWABLE has moved up from Rs 104.8 to Rs 184.0, registering a gain of Rs 79.2 (up 75.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 17,956.4 to 28,682.8, registering a gain of 59.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were GAIL (up 100.8%), HPCL (up 85.7%) and IOC (up 84.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,498.2 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (up 3.3%) and Reliance Ind. (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ICICI Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,843.1 (up 0.5%). Ultratech Cement and Reliance Ind. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,498.2, registering a gain of 15,528.2 points (up 24.7%).

GITA RENEWABLE Financial Update...

GITA RENEWABLE net profit grew 188.2% YoY to Rs 1 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 1 million a year ago. Net sales rose 282.2% to Rs 3 million during the period as against Rs 1 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, GITA RENEWABLE reported 230.1% increase in net profit to Rs 79 million compared to net profit of Rs 24 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 12.5% to Rs 2 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GITA RENEWABLE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 212.6.
