GMR POWER & URBAN share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 141.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,919.8 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are L&T (up 1.7%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 1.5%).

Thermax (down 1.5%) and Honeywell Automation (down 1.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GMR POWER & URBAN has moved up from Rs 32.2 to Rs 141.3, registering a gain of Rs 109.1 (up 338.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 47,809.8 to 71,919.8, registering a gain of 50.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 130.3%), Siemens (up 114.2%) and BHEL (up 106.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,854.7 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (up 1.9%) and L&T (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,101.5 (up 0.6%). HDFC Bank and Wipro are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,079.4 to 81,854.7, registering a gain of 15,775.4 points (up 23.9%).

GMR POWER & URBAN Financial Update...

GMR POWER & URBAN net profit grew 740.1% YoY to Rs 13,498 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 2,109 million a year ago. Net sales rose 43.4% to Rs 16,119 million during the period as against Rs 11,242 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, GMR POWER & URBAN reported 109.5% decrease in net profit to Rs -1,112 million compared to net profit of Rs 11,710 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 18.6% to Rs 44,890 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GMR POWER & URBAN, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 6.3.
