GRAVITA INDIA share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 2,568.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 33,856.1 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Coal India (up 1.6%) and JSW Steel (up 1.3%).

Jindal Steel (down 0.8%) and Tata Steel (down 0.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GRAVITA INDIA has moved up from Rs 900.3 to Rs 2,568.0, registering a gain of Rs 1,667.8 (up 185.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 22,958.6 to 33,856.1, registering a gain of 47.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 125.2%), Coal India (up 65.3%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 60.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,820.0 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 1.8%) and HDFC Bank (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,088.6 (up 0.5%). Wipro and L&T are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,079.4 to 81,820.0, registering a gain of 15,740.7 points (up 23.8%).

GRAVITA INDIA Financial Update...

GRAVITA INDIA net profit grew 29.4% YoY to Rs 680 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 526 million a year ago. Net sales rose 29.1% to Rs 9,079 million during the period as against Rs 7,034 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, GRAVITA INDIA reported 18.7% increase in net profit to Rs 2,423 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,041 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 12.9% to Rs 31,608 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GRAVITA INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 68.8.
