AEROFLEX INDUSTRIES Gains 6%; BSE METAL Index Up 0.5%

AEROFLEX INDUSTRIES share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 202.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 33,814.4 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Hindustan Zinc (up 1.3%) and NMDC (up 1.3%).

Jindal Steel (down 0.6%) and Tata Steel (down 0.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, AEROFLEX INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 144.1 to Rs 202.9, registering a gain of Rs 58.9 (up 40.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 22,958.6 to 33,814.4, registering a gain of 47.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 125.1%), Coal India (up 64.0%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 61.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,891.8 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 1.9%) and HDFC Bank (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,131.6 (up 0.7%). Shriram Transport and Wipro are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,079.4 to 81,891.8, registering a gain of 15,812.4 points (up 23.9%).

AEROFLEX INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

AEROFLEX INDUSTRIES net profit grew 11.9% YoY to Rs 124 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 111 million a year ago. Net sales rose 8.2% to Rs 897 million during the period as against Rs 829 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, AEROFLEX INDUSTRIES reported 38.4% increase in net profit to Rs 417 million compared to net profit of Rs 302 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 18.0% to Rs 3,179 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of AEROFLEX INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 60.9.
