SALZER ELEC Gains 8%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.4%

SALZER ELEC share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 1,057.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,727.3 (up 1.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ABB (up 4.7%) and Siemens (up 4.4%).

Finolex Cables (down 1.2%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SALZER ELEC has moved up from Rs 379.1 to Rs 1,057.5, registering a gain of Rs 678.4 (up 179.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 47,558.7 to 71,727.3, registering a gain of 50.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 129.6%), Siemens (up 117.3%) and BHEL (up 110.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,897.1 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (up 2.5%) and Bajaj Finance (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,110.4 (up 0.4%). Shriram Transport and Tata Motors are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.4 to 81,897.1, registering a gain of 16,384.7 points (up 25.0%).

SALZER ELEC Financial Update...

SALZER ELEC net profit grew 45.1% YoY to Rs 148 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 102 million a year ago. Net sales rose 23.6% to Rs 3,569 million during the period as against Rs 2,887 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SALZER ELEC reported 18.8% increase in net profit to Rs 471 million compared to net profit of Rs 396 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 12.5% to Rs 11,663 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SALZER ELEC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 36.2.
