Divis Laboratories share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 5,796.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 44,445.8 (up 1.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are Procter & Gamble Health (up 2.6%) and ASTRAZENECA PHARMA (up 2.4%).

NARAYANA HRUDAYALAYA (down 0.3%) and SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (down 0.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Divis Laboratories has moved up from Rs 3,702.7 to Rs 5,796.0, registering a gain of Rs 2,093.4 (up 56.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 27,979.6 to 44,445.8, registering a gain of 58.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 167.3%), Glenmark Pharma (up 122.8%) and SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 110.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,803.5 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (up 2.1%) and Tech Mahindra (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,072.5 (up 0.2%). Shriram Transport and BPCL are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.4 to 81,803.5, registering a gain of 16,291.1 points (up 24.9%).

Divis Laboratories Financial Update...

Divis Laboratories net profit grew 20.8% YoY to Rs 4,300 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3,560 million a year ago. Net sales rose 19.1% to Rs 21,180 million during the period as against Rs 17,780 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Divis Laboratories reported 12.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 16,000 million compared to net profit of Rs 18,240 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 1.0% to Rs 78,450 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Divis Laboratories, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 91.9.
