HILTON METAL Gains 6%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 0.4%

HILTON METAL share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 88.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 68,515.4 (down 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are TIMKEN INDIA (up 2.6%) and Graphite India (up 1.0%).

AIA Engineering (down 2.5%) and Lakshmi Machine (down 2.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HILTON METAL has moved down from Rs 154.5 to Rs 88.5, registering a loss of Rs 66.0 (down 42.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 47,570.0 to 68,515.4, registering a gain of 44.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 117.1%), BHEL (up 101.0%) and Siemens (up 99.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,079.4 .

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 1.6%) and Hindustan Unilever (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,777.7 (down 0.1%). Tata Steel and Hindalco are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,226.0 to 81,079.4, registering a gain of 15,853.4 points (up 24.3%).

HILTON METAL Financial Update...

HILTON METAL net profit fell 66.2% YoY to Rs 6 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 17 million a year ago. Net sales rose 22.9% to Rs 340 million during the period as against Rs 277 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, HILTON METAL reported 14.1% increase in net profit to Rs 67 million compared to net profit of Rs 59 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 31.7% to Rs 1,381 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HILTON METAL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 35.1.
