Texmaco Infra Plunges 8%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 2.7%

Texmaco Infra share price has plunged 8% and is presently trading at Rs 108.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 68,411.0 (down 2.7%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Graphite India (down 6.8%) and GMR Infra (down 5.7%).

Over the last one year, Texmaco Infra has moved up from Rs 67.9 to Rs 108.1, registering a gain of Rs 40.2 (up 59.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,209.1 to 68,411.0, registering a gain of 41.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 111.8%), Siemens (up 96.2%) and BHEL (up 94.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,978.5 (down 0.9%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (down 4.6%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 4.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Axis Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,748.4 (down 1.1%). NTPC and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.1 to 80,978.5, registering a gain of 15,466.4 points (up 23.6%).

Texmaco Infra Financial Update...

Texmaco Infra net profit fell 48.8% YoY to Rs 2 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3 million a year ago. Net sales rose 6.6% to Rs 38 million during the period as against Rs 36 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Texmaco Infra reported 28.5% increase in net profit to Rs 40 million compared to net profit of Rs 31 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 2.7% to Rs 161 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Texmaco Infra, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 363.1.
