VIP INDUSTRIES share price has plunged 8% and is presently trading at Rs 519.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 64,511.3 (down 2.0%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Blue Star (down 6.1%) and ORIENT ELECTRIC (down 3.5%).

CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (up 0.9%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, VIP INDUSTRIES has moved down from Rs 664.1 to Rs 519.2, registering a loss of Rs 144.9 (down 21.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 45,729.3 to 64,511.3, registering a gain of 41.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 154.3%), Blue Star (up 118.1%) and Voltas (up 102.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,978.5 (down 0.9%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (down 4.6%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 4.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Axis Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,748.4 (down 1.1%). NTPC and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.1 to 80,978.5, registering a gain of 15,466.4 points (up 23.6%).

VIP INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

VIP INDUSTRIES net profit fell 93.0% YoY to Rs 40 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 578 million a year ago. Net sales rose 0.4% to Rs 6,389 million during the period as against Rs 6,361 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, VIP INDUSTRIES reported 64.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 543 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,523 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 7.8% to Rs 22,450 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VIP INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 12510.8.
