DB REALTY Plunges 8%; BSE REALTY Index Down 0.7%

DB REALTY share price has plunged 8% and is presently trading at Rs 169.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 7,999.1 (down 0.7%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY index today are MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (down 5.6%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (down 3.5%).

Phoenix Mill (up 1.9%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, DB REALTY has moved up from Rs 163.2 to Rs 169.0, registering a gain of Rs 5.8 (up 3.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,625.6 to 7,999.1, registering a gain of 72.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 178.2%), Sobha (up 157.2%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 134.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,167.1 (down 0.6%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (down 4.2%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 3.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Axis Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,819.3 (down 0.8%). NTPC and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.1 to 81,167.1, registering a gain of 15,655.0 points (up 23.9%).

DB REALTY Financial Update...

DB REALTY net profit grew 52.2% YoY to Rs -122 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 255 million a year ago. Net sales rose 3165.6% to Rs 795 million during the period as against Rs 24 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, DB REALTY reported 1563.4% increase in net profit to Rs 13,171 million compared to net loss of Rs 900 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 48.8% to Rs 3,575 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of DB REALTY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 6.8.
