PTC India share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 189.4.

Among the top losers in the BSE POWER index today are Tata Power (down 4.4%) and KEC INTERNATIONAL (down 4.1%).
Over the last one year, PTC India has moved up from Rs 132.0 to Rs 189.4, registering a gain of Rs 57.4 (up 43.5%).
On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 4,621.4 to 8,084.8, registering a gain of 74.9% during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were TORRENT POWER (up 144.3%), Siemens (up 99.6%) and BHEL (up 96.5%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,392.5 (down 0.4%).
The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 3.8%) and NTPC (down 3.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Axis Bank.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,822.7 (down 0.8%). NTPC and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.1 to 81,392.5, registering a gain of 15,880.4 points (up 24.2%).
PTC India net profit grew 20.1% YoY to Rs 1,494 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,244 million a year ago. Net sales declined 1.5% to Rs 46,856 million during the period as against Rs 47,583 million in April-June 2023.
For the year ended March 2024, PTC India reported 0.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 4,836 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,848 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 7.0% to Rs 167,632 million during FY24.
The current Price to earnings ratio of PTC India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 10.3.
