Piramal Enterprises share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 902.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 36,594.2 (down 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are KIMS (up 1.3%) and Sanofi India (up 0.9%).

MAX HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE (down 2.2%) and APOLLO HOSPITALS (down 1.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Piramal Enterprises has moved up from Rs 884.2 to Rs 902.3, registering a gain of Rs 18.1 (up 2.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 25,266.1 to 36,594.2, registering a gain of 44.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Cadila Healthcare (up 89.7%), Glenmark Pharma (up 86.3%) and GSK Pharma (up 85.9%).

The BSE Sensex is at 78,111.7 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (up 1.7%) and ICICI Bank (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ICICI Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,703.8 (down 0.1%). APOLLO HOSPITALS and Hindalco are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,111.7, registering a gain of 15,141.7 points (up 24.0%).

Piramal Enterprises Financial Update...

Piramal Enterprises net profit grew 170.8% YoY to Rs 1,479 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 2,090 million a year ago. Net sales rose 16.0% to Rs 24,733 million during the period as against Rs 21,317 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Piramal Enterprises reported 116.9% decrease in net profit to Rs -16,835 million compared to net profit of Rs 99,686 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 12.2% to Rs 100,203 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Piramal Enterprises, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -11.1.
