SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 209.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 43,894.6 (up 0.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are AJANTA PHARMA (down 1.8%) and ASTER DM HEALTHCARE (down 1.4%).

KIMS (up 3.4%) and Pfizer (up 3.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC has moved up from Rs 92.3 to Rs 209.6, registering a gain of Rs 117.3 (up 127.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,428.9 to 43,894.6, registering a gain of 54.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 156.7%), SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 106.1%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 99.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,442.4 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 1.5%) and NTPC (down 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Axis Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,237.1 (down 0.1%). BPCL and IOC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.1 to 82,442.4, registering a gain of 16,930.3 points (up 25.8%).

SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC Financial Update...

SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC net profit grew 126.1% YoY to Rs 91 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 347 million a year ago. Net sales rose 17.1% to Rs 3,902 million during the period as against Rs 3,332 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC reported 75.7% increase in net profit to Rs -296 million compared to net loss of Rs 1,220 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 3.6% to Rs 13,697 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 370.3.
