Pfizer share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 5,655.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 43,901.5 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are KIMS (up 3.4%) and DR. LAL PATHLABS (up 2.6%).

AJANTA PHARMA (down 1.8%) and ASTER DM HEALTHCARE (down 1.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Pfizer has moved up from Rs 3,910.5 to Rs 5,655.0, registering a gain of Rs 1,744.5 (up 44.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,428.9 to 43,901.5, registering a gain of 54.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 156.7%), SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 106.1%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 99.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,480.4 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 1.3%) and NTPC (down 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Axis Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,237.1 (down 0.1%). BPCL and IOC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.1 to 82,480.4, registering a gain of 16,968.3 points (up 25.9%).

Pfizer Financial Update...

Pfizer net profit grew 61.1% YoY to Rs 1,507 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 935 million a year ago. Net sales rose 5.9% to Rs 5,629 million during the period as against Rs 5,314 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Pfizer reported 11.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 5,513 million compared to net profit of Rs 6,239 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 9.6% to Rs 21,932 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Pfizer, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 42.5.
