ADANI GREEN ENERGY share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,803.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 8,485.6 (down 1.8%).

Among the top losers in the BSE POWER index today are BHEL (down 3.1%) and Thermax (down 2.6%).

Over the last one year, ADANI GREEN ENERGY has moved up from Rs 974.3 to Rs 1,803.8, registering a gain of Rs 829.6 (up 85.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 4,621.4 to 8,485.6, registering a gain of 83.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were TORRENT POWER (up 148.0%), Siemens (up 107.3%) and BHEL (up 107.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 83,017.8 (down 1.5%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 4.0%) and Asian Paints (down 3.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Reliance Ind..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,412.0 (down 1.5%). BPCL and Tata Motors are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.1 to 83,017.8, registering a gain of 17,505.7 points (up 26.7%).

ADANI GREEN ENERGY Financial Update...

ADANI GREEN ENERGY net profit grew 64.5% YoY to Rs 4,490 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,730 million a year ago. Net sales rose 31.1% to Rs 28,340 million during the period as against Rs 21,620 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, ADANI GREEN ENERGY reported 29.5% increase in net profit to Rs 12,600 million compared to net profit of Rs 9,730 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 18.6% to Rs 92,200 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ADANI GREEN ENERGY , based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 249.1.
