GODREJ AGROVET share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 734.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 23,729.0 (down 0.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE FMCG index today are Marico (down 1.2%) and Godrej Consumer (down 1.2%).

Tata Coffee (up 3.6%) and Shree Renuka Sugars (up 2.8%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, GODREJ AGROVET has moved up from Rs 479.2 to Rs 734.6, registering a gain of Rs 255.4 (up 53.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,912.2 to 23,729.0, registering a gain of 25.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 230.8%), BOM.BURMAH (up 139.1%) and Colgate (up 83.9%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tech Mahindra (up 3.4%) and M&M (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,810.9 (down 1.4%). Hero Motocorp and Reliance Ind. are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,118.7 to 84,385.2, registering a gain of 18,266.5 points (up 27.6%).

GODREJ AGROVET Financial Update...

GODREJ AGROVET net profit grew 33.7% YoY to Rs 1,161 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 869 million a year ago. Net sales declined 6.4% to Rs 23,508 million during the period as against Rs 25,102 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, GODREJ AGROVET reported 21.7% increase in net profit to Rs 3,595 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,954 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 2.0% to Rs 95,606 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GODREJ AGROVET , based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 42.0.
