SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC share price has zoomed 16% and is presently trading at Rs 220.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 44,350.9 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are Natco Pharma (up 2.9%) and Sun Pharma (up 2.5%).

GLAND PHARMA (down 3.6%) and NARAYANA HRUDAYALAYA (down 2.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC has moved up from Rs 92.6 to Rs 220.5, registering a gain of Rs 127.9 (up 138.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 27,800.9 to 44,350.9, registering a gain of 59.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 181.9%), SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 121.7%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 115.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 85,592.9 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (down 2.9%) and Bharti Airtel (down 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 26,201.9 (down 0.1%). Power Grid Corp. and Bharti Airtel are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.7 to 85,592.9, registering a gain of 19,569.2 points (up 29.6%).

SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC Financial Update...

SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC net profit grew 126.1% YoY to Rs 91 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 347 million a year ago. Net sales rose 17.1% to Rs 3,902 million during the period as against Rs 3,332 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC reported 75.7% increase in net profit to Rs -296 million compared to net loss of Rs 1,220 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 3.6% to Rs 13,697 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 389.6.
