Force Motors Gains 8%; BSE AUTO Index Up 0.6%

Force Motors share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 7,496.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO index is at 62,318.6 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE AUTO index today are MRF (up 1.8%) and Balkrishna Ind (up 1.8%).

Hero Motocorp (down 1.4%) and Ashok Leyland (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Force Motors has moved up from Rs 3,747.3 to Rs 7,496.6, registering a gain of Rs 3,749.3 (up 100.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO index has moved up from 36,764.0 to 62,318.6, registering a gain of 69.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE AUTO index stocks during this same period were Bajaj Auto (up 154.2%), Motherson Sumi (up 122.7%) and Cummins India (up 121.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 85,580.7 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (down 3.1%) and Bharti Airtel (down 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 26,201.9 (down 0.1%). Power Grid Corp. and Bharti Airtel are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.7 to 85,580.7, registering a gain of 19,557.0 points (up 29.6%).

Force Motors Financial Update...

Force Motors net profit grew 66.1% YoY to Rs 1,197 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 721 million a year ago. Net sales rose 26.7% to Rs 18,849 million during the period as against Rs 14,876 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Force Motors reported 190.3% increase in net profit to Rs 3,882 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,337 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 39.0% to Rs 69,921 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Force Motors, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 22.0.
