Texmaco Infra Plunges 4%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 1.0%

Texmaco Infra share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 120.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 73,354.6 (down 1.0%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Bharat Forge (down 3.1%) and Siemens (down 2.2%).

Thermax (up 1.5%) and Carborundum Universal (up 1.0%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Texmaco Infra has moved up from Rs 71.5 to Rs 120.6, registering a gain of Rs 49.1 (up 68.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 46,582.2 to 73,354.6, registering a gain of 57.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 125.5%), BHEL (up 123.9%) and Bharat Electronics (up 112.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 85,721.5 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Maruti Suzuki (up 4.7%) and M&M (up 3.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 26,189.9 (up 0.7%). Maruti Suzuki and M&M are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.7 to 85,721.5, registering a gain of 19,697.8 points (up 29.8%).

Texmaco Infra Financial Update...

Texmaco Infra net profit fell 48.8% YoY to Rs 2 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3 million a year ago. Net sales rose 6.6% to Rs 38 million during the period as against Rs 36 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Texmaco Infra reported 28.5% increase in net profit to Rs 40 million compared to net profit of Rs 31 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 2.7% to Rs 161 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Texmaco Infra, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 405.1.
