LLOYDS METALS Gains 5%; BSE METAL Index Up 1.9%

LLOYDS METALS share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 917.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 33,849.4 (up 1.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Vedanta (up 4.8%) and SAIL (up 3.5%).

APOLLO TUBES (down 0.3%) and Coal India (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, LLOYDS METALS has moved up from Rs 530.2 to Rs 917.0, registering a gain of Rs 386.9 (up 73.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 22,741.0 to 33,849.4, registering a gain of 48.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 123.8%), Coal India (up 75.0%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 65.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 85,700.6 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Maruti Suzuki (up 4.8%) and M&M (up 3.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 26,189.9 (up 0.7%). Maruti Suzuki and M&M are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.7 to 85,700.6, registering a gain of 19,676.9 points (up 29.8%).

LLOYDS METALS Financial Update...

LLOYDS METALS net profit grew 38.2% YoY to Rs 5,574 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 4,033 million a year ago. Net sales rose 23.0% to Rs 24,172 million during the period as against Rs 19,655 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, LLOYDS METALS reported 530.8% increase in net profit to Rs 12,429 million compared to net loss of Rs 2,885 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 92.2% to Rs 65,217 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of LLOYDS METALS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 34.3.
