Blue Star share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 2,138.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 67,189.9 (down 1.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (up 2.0%) and Titan .

CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (down 6.0%) and Voltas (down 3.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Blue Star has moved up from Rs 912.8 to Rs 2,138.9, registering a gain of Rs 1,226.2 (up 134.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 46,147.0 to 67,189.9, registering a gain of 45.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 186.9%), Blue Star (up 134.3%) and Voltas (up 110.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 85,700.6 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Maruti Suzuki (up 4.8%) and M&M (up 3.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 26,189.9 (up 0.7%). Maruti Suzuki and M&M are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.7 to 85,700.6, registering a gain of 19,676.9 points (up 29.8%).

Blue Star Financial Update...

Blue Star net profit grew 102.3% YoY to Rs 1,687 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 834 million a year ago. Net sales rose 28.7% to Rs 28,654 million during the period as against Rs 22,260 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Blue Star reported 3.4% increase in net profit to Rs 4,143 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,007 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 21.4% to Rs 96,854 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Blue Star, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 88.1.
