Mic Electronics share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 102.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 23,674.6 (down 0.9%).

Among the top losers in the BSE FMCG index today are Dabur (down 4.2%) and VST Industries (down 2.6%).

Tata Coffee (up 3.6%) and Shree Renuka Sugars (up 3.4%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Mic Electronics has moved up from Rs 25.1 to Rs 102.6, registering a gain of Rs 77.5 (up 308.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,686.8 to 23,674.6, registering a gain of 26.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 236.2%), BOM.BURMAH (up 122.1%) and RADICO KHAITAN (up 81.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 84,913.4 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tech Mahindra (down 2.1%) and Tata Motors (down 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,925.2 (down 0.1%). LTIMINDTREE and Tech Mahindra are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.7 to 84,913.4, registering a gain of 18,889.7 points (up 28.6%).

Mic Electronics Financial Update...

Mic Electronics net profit grew 58.5% YoY to Rs 20 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 12 million a year ago. Net sales rose 29.7% to Rs 107 million during the period as against Rs 83 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Mic Electronics reported 25285.4% increase in net profit to Rs 618 million compared to net profit of Rs 2 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 138.2% to Rs 546 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Mic Electronics, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 39.2.
