Symphony share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,648.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 68,627.5 (up 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (up 2.0%) and Blue Star (up 1.0%).

WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 1.0%) and RAJESH EXPORTS (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Symphony has moved up from Rs 879.4 to Rs 1,648.7, registering a gain of Rs 769.3 (up 87.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 46,147.0 to 68,627.5, registering a gain of 48.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 195.0%), Blue Star (up 124.1%) and Voltas (up 118.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 84,948.1 .

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 2.8%) and M&M (up 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,939.5 . Tata Consumer Products and Tech Mahindra are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.7 to 84,948.1, registering a gain of 18,924.4 points (up 28.7%).

Symphony Financial Update...

Symphony net profit grew 266.7% YoY to Rs 880 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 240 million a year ago. Net sales rose 75.8% to Rs 5,310 million during the period as against Rs 3,020 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Symphony reported 27.8% increase in net profit to Rs 1,481 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,159 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 2.7% to Rs 11,561 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Symphony, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 53.4.
