NATIONAL FITTINGS share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 138.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 32,165.8 (up 0.6%).

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are APOLLO TUBES (down 0.9%) and Hindalco (down 0.6%).

SAIL (up 2.5%) and Coal India (up 1.5%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, NATIONAL FITTINGS has moved up from Rs 116.3 to Rs 138.5, registering a gain of Rs 22.3 (up 19.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 22,980.9 to 32,165.8, registering a gain of 40.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 95.4%), Coal India (up 75.4%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 59.4%).

The BSE Sensex is at 84,881.6 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 3.3%) and SBI (up 2.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ICICI Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,938.8 (up 0.6%). M&M and Bajaj Auto are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,800.8 to 84,881.6, registering a gain of 18,080.8 points (up 27.1%).

NATIONAL FITTINGS Financial Update...

NATIONAL FITTINGS net profit grew 737.8% YoY to Rs 69 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 8 million a year ago. Net sales declined 13.1% to Rs 151 million during the period as against Rs 174 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, NATIONAL FITTINGS reported 33.1% increase in net profit to Rs 58 million compared to net profit of Rs 44 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 11.0% to Rs 765 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NATIONAL FITTINGS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 10.5.
