TEXMACO RAIL Gains 7%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 2.4%

TEXMACO RAIL share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 227.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 73,427.4 (up 2.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Thermax (up 5.2%) and BHEL (up 3.5%).

V GUARD IND. (down 2.6%) and Lakshmi Machine (down 1.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TEXMACO RAIL has moved up from Rs 137.0 to Rs 227.6, registering a gain of Rs 90.7 (up 66.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 47,095.4 to 73,427.4, registering a gain of 55.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 118.3%), BHEL (up 110.5%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 99.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 84,643.4 (up 1.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 5.4%) and ICICI Bank (up 5.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ICICI Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,822.6 (up 1.6%). M&M and ICICI Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,596.8 to 84,643.4, registering a gain of 17,046.6 points (up 25.2%).

TEXMACO RAIL Financial Update...

TEXMACO RAIL net profit grew 242.8% YoY to Rs 293 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 85 million a year ago. Net sales rose 35.8% to Rs 8,917 million during the period as against Rs 6,568 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, TEXMACO RAIL reported 734.0% increase in net profit to Rs 962 million compared to net profit of Rs 115 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 56.1% to Rs 35,029 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TEXMACO RAIL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 77.8.
