Bajaj Electricals share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,002.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 67,321.8 (up 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Voltas (up 2.4%) and Titan (up 1.8%).

AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (down 2.6%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (down 2.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Bajaj Electricals has moved down from Rs 1,119.6 to Rs 1,002.3, registering a loss of Rs 117.3 (down 10.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 46,724.8 to 67,321.8, registering a gain of 44.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 179.4%), Blue Star (up 133.2%) and Voltas (up 119.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 83,264.6 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (up 2.5%) and Kotak Bank (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,438.4 (up 0.2%). NTPC and Kotak Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,596.8 to 83,264.6, registering a gain of 15,667.7 points (up 23.2%).

Bajaj Electricals Financial Update...

Bajaj Electricals net profit fell 25.1% YoY to Rs 281 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 375 million a year ago. Net sales rose 3.8% to Rs 11,549 million during the period as against Rs 11,121 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Bajaj Electricals reported 36.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,359 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,154 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 5.1% to Rs 46,413 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Bajaj Electricals, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 91.4.
