NURECA Gains 11%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Down 0.6%

NURECA share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 394.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 44,052.2 (down 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are POLY MEDICURE (up 4.6%) and GSK Pharma (up 0.8%).

FORTIS HEALTHCARE (down 3.0%) and Abbott India (down 2.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NURECA has moved up from Rs 359.4 to Rs 394.1, registering a gain of Rs 34.7 (up 9.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,508.7 to 44,052.2, registering a gain of 54.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 175.3%), SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 106.7%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 98.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 83,262.4 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (up 2.6%) and HDFC Bank (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,458.9 (up 0.2%). Shriram Transport and Bajaj Finance are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,596.8 to 83,262.4, registering a gain of 15,665.6 points (up 23.2%).

NURECA Financial Update...

NURECA net profit grew 335.1% YoY to Rs 17 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 7 million a year ago. Net sales declined 4.5% to Rs 203 million during the period as against Rs 212 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, NURECA reported 78.3% increase in net profit to Rs -18 million compared to net loss of Rs 83 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 17.4% to Rs 919 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NURECA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 685.4.
