REMI METALS Gains 10%; BSE METAL Index Up 1.0%

REMI METALS share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 58.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 32,208.4 (up 1.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Vedanta (up 3.1%) and JSW Steel (up 2.1%).

APOLLO TUBES (down 1.0%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, REMI METALS has moved up from Rs 35.9 to Rs 58.1, registering a gain of Rs 22.2 (up 62.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 22,920.8 to 32,208.4, registering a gain of 40.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 101.8%), Coal India (up 82.1%) and NMDC (up 63.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 83,080.9 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are JSW Steel (up 2.1%) and NTPC (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,414.7 (up 0.2%). JSW Steel and NTPC are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,221.1 to 83,080.9, registering a gain of 15,859.8 points (up 23.6%).

REMI METALS Financial Update...

REMI METALS net profit fell 82.5% YoY to Rs 20 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 111 million a year ago. Net sales declined 0.4% to Rs 1,621 million during the period as against Rs 1,628 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, REMI METALS reported 57.6% increase in net profit to Rs -137 million compared to net loss of Rs 324 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 155.9% to Rs 4,178 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of REMI METALS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 57.8.
