Piramal Enterprises share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 1,118.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 44,319.2 (up 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are Jubilant Pharmova (up 9.9%) and J.B.Chemicals (up 2.3%).

KIMS (down 79.7%) and NARAYANA HRUDAYALAYA (down 4.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Piramal Enterprises has moved down from Rs 1,127.1 to Rs 1,118.8, registering a loss of Rs 8.3 (down 0.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,436.8 to 44,319.2, registering a gain of 55.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 155.8%), SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 131.3%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 115.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,894.7 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are ITC (down 1.3%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,364.8 (down 0.1%). SBI LIFE INSURANCE and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,127.1 to 82,894.7, registering a gain of 15,767.6 points (up 23.5%).

Piramal Enterprises Financial Update...

Piramal Enterprises net profit fell 64.3% YoY to Rs 1,739 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 4,877 million a year ago. Net sales declined 26.2% to Rs 21,228 million during the period as against Rs 28,780 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Piramal Enterprises reported 116.9% decrease in net profit to Rs -16,835 million compared to net profit of Rs 99,686 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 12.2% to Rs 100,203 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Piramal Enterprises, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -11.7.
