KDDL. share price has zoomed 13% and is presently trading at Rs 3,580.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 66,537.0 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are VAIBHAV GEMS (up 3.8%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 3.4%).

CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (down 0.7%) and Bajaj Electricals (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, KDDL. has moved up from Rs 1,874.1 to Rs 3,580.2, registering a gain of Rs 1,706.1 (up 91.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 46,360.5 to 66,537.0, registering a gain of 43.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 148.2%), Blue Star (up 131.8%) and Voltas (up 108.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,873.5 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are ITC (down 1.4%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,364.8 (down 0.1%). SBI LIFE INSURANCE and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,127.1 to 82,873.5, registering a gain of 15,746.4 points (up 23.5%).

KDDL. Financial Update...

KDDL. net profit fell 14.7% YoY to Rs 279 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 327 million a year ago. Net sales rose 8.6% to Rs 3,599 million during the period as against Rs 3,315 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, KDDL. reported 106.9% increase in net profit to Rs 770 million compared to net profit of Rs 372 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 37.1% to Rs 11,194 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KDDL., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 34.0.
