KAMDHENU ISPAT Gains 8%; BSE METAL Index Up 0.7%

KAMDHENU ISPAT share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 641.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 30,932.8 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are NMDC (up 1.9%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 1.6%).

APOLLO TUBES (down 0.4%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, KAMDHENU ISPAT has moved up from Rs 307.3 to Rs 641.4, registering a gain of Rs 334.1 (up 108.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 23,528.2 to 30,932.8, registering a gain of 31.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 80.5%), Coal India (up 73.5%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 51.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,736.5 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 1.5%) and Kotak Bank (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,002.2 (up 0.3%). Shriram Transport and Hero Motocorp are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,127.1 to 81,736.5, registering a gain of 14,609.4 points (up 21.8%).

KAMDHENU ISPAT Financial Update...

KAMDHENU ISPAT net profit grew 28.0% YoY to Rs 154 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 121 million a year ago. Net sales declined 11.5% to Rs 1,845 million during the period as against Rs 2,086 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, KAMDHENU ISPAT reported 22.2% increase in net profit to Rs 501 million compared to net profit of Rs 410 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 1.0% to Rs 7,247 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KAMDHENU ISPAT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 33.2.
