Engineers India share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 222.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,861.0 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ABB (up 2.3%) and Thermax (up 2.1%).

Lakshmi Machine (down 1.4%) and V GUARD IND. (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Engineers India has moved up from Rs 161.5 to Rs 222.0, registering a gain of Rs 60.6 (up 37.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 47,746.4 to 71,861.0, registering a gain of 50.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 126.1%), Bharat Electronics (up 100.8%) and BHEL (up 88.9%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,712.0 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Kotak Bank (up 1.5%) and M&M (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,997.1 (up 0.3%). Bajaj Auto and Shriram Transport are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,127.1 to 81,712.0, registering a gain of 14,585.0 points (up 21.7%).

Engineers India Financial Update...

Engineers India net profit fell 49.4% YoY to Rs 589 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,164 million a year ago. Net sales declined 23.8% to Rs 6,238 million during the period as against Rs 8,183 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Engineers India reported 4.6% increase in net profit to Rs 3,602 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,442 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 1.4% to Rs 32,822 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Engineers India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 41.2.
