AVALON TECHNOLOGIES share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 545.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 65,600.4 (up 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.3%) and CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (up 1.2%).

WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 0.3%) and Bajaj Electricals (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, AVALON TECHNOLOGIES has moved down from Rs 605.0 to Rs 545.3, registering a loss of Rs 59.8 (down 9.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 46,360.5 to 65,600.4, registering a gain of 41.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 148.5%), Blue Star (up 123.5%) and Voltas (up 103.6%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,814.5 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Steel (up 1.9%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,045.8 (up 0.5%). Tata Steel and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,127.1 to 81,814.5, registering a gain of 14,687.5 points (up 21.9%).

AVALON TECHNOLOGIES Financial Update...

AVALON TECHNOLOGIES net profit fell 132.6% YoY to Rs -23 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 71 million a year ago. Net sales declined 15.2% to Rs 1,995 million during the period as against Rs 2,351 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, AVALON TECHNOLOGIES reported 46.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 280 million compared to net profit of Rs 525 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 8.2% to Rs 8,672 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of AVALON TECHNOLOGIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 193.3.
