Linde India share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 7,688.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 31,129.3 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are GAIL (up 1.4%) and Indraprastha Gas (up 0.8%).

Petronet LNG (down 0.8%) and HPCL (down 0.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Linde India has moved up from Rs 6,495.7 to Rs 7,688.0, registering a gain of Rs 1,192.3 (up 18.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 19,163.5 to 31,129.3, registering a gain of 62.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were HPCL (up 146.9%), BPCL (up 96.0%) and IOC (up 91.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,827.1 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Infosys (up 1.4%) and Axis Bank (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,024.6 (up 0.4%). Divis Laboratories and LTIMINDTREE are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,880.5 to 81,827.1, registering a gain of 15,946.5 points (up 24.2%).

Linde India Financial Update...

Linde India net profit grew 13.6% YoY to Rs 1,115 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 981 million a year ago. Net sales declined 9.4% to Rs 6,532 million during the period as against Rs 7,210 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Linde India reported 19.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 4,341 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,381 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 11.7% to Rs 27,687 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Linde India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 149.1.
