Symphony share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 1,470.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 64,752.3 (up 0.6%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (down 1.1%) and Titan .

VAIBHAV GEMS (up 2.2%) and Bajaj Electricals (up 1.7%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Symphony has moved up from Rs 899.6 to Rs 1,470.0, registering a gain of Rs 570.4 (up 63.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 45,340.3 to 64,752.3, registering a gain of 42.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 152.0%), Blue Star (up 139.9%) and Voltas (up 104.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,691.1 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 1.4%) and Bharti Airtel (up 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,007.0 (up 0.3%). Power Grid Corp. and Divis Laboratories are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,880.5 to 81,691.1, registering a gain of 15,810.6 points (up 24.0%).

Symphony Financial Update...

Symphony net profit grew 266.7% YoY to Rs 880 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 240 million a year ago. Net sales rose 75.8% to Rs 5,310 million during the period as against Rs 3,020 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Symphony reported 27.8% increase in net profit to Rs 1,481 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,159 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 2.7% to Rs 11,561 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Symphony, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 47.8.
