TRANSFORMERS & RECTIFIERS share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 689.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,737.8 (down 0.6%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Bharat Electronics (down 1.6%) and Carborundum Universal (down 1.5%).

Thermax (up 0.3%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 0.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, TRANSFORMERS & RECTIFIERS has moved up from Rs 120.1 to Rs 689.5, registering a gain of Rs 569.4 (up 474.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 45,901.9 to 70,737.8, registering a gain of 54.1% during the last 12 months.

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,180.3 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (down 1.4%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,838.4 (down 0.1%). ONGC and Hindalco are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,780.3 to 81,180.3, registering a gain of 15,400.1 points (up 23.4%).

TRANSFORMERS & RECTIFIERS Financial Update...

TRANSFORMERS & RECTIFIERS net profit grew 270.6% YoY to Rs 208 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 122 million a year ago. Net sales rose 107.0% to Rs 3,220 million during the period as against Rs 1,556 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, TRANSFORMERS & RECTIFIERS reported 11.0% increase in net profit to Rs 470 million compared to net profit of Rs 423 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 7.3% to Rs 12,947 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TRANSFORMERS & RECTIFIERS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 129.3.
