TECHNO ELECTRIC & ENG share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 1,599.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,425.7 (down 1.0%).

Bharat Electronics (down 2.0%) and Carborundum Universal (down 1.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TECHNO ELECTRIC & ENG has moved up from Rs 545.3 to Rs 1,599.0, registering a gain of Rs 1,053.8 (up 193.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 45,901.9 to 70,425.7, registering a gain of 53.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 134.3%), Bharat Electronics (up 99.0%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 91.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,914.4 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 2.1%) and Tata Steel (down 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,755.7 (down 0.4%). ONGC and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,780.3 to 80,914.4, registering a gain of 15,134.1 points (up 23.0%).

TECHNO ELECTRIC & ENG Financial Update...

TECHNO ELECTRIC & ENG net profit grew 91.4% YoY to Rs 533 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 278 million a year ago. Net sales rose 37.0% to Rs 3,754 million during the period as against Rs 2,739 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, TECHNO ELECTRIC & ENG reported 180.5% increase in net profit to Rs 2,710 million compared to net profit of Rs 966 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 81.1% to Rs 15,024 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TECHNO ELECTRIC & ENG, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 62.7.
