Phoenix Mill Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.7%

Phoenix Mill share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 3,777.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,192.4 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are SUNTECK REALTY (up 1.7%) and MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (up 1.7%).

DLF (down 1.2%) and OBEROI REALTY (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Phoenix Mill has moved up from Rs 1,849.5 to Rs 3,777.7, registering a gain of Rs 1,928.2 (up 104.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,563.4 to 8,192.4, registering a gain of 79.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 188.4%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 173.4%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 109.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,200.9 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are SBI (down 1.3%) and Ultratech Cement (down 0.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,145.4 . SBI and Coal India are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,628.1 to 82,200.9, registering a gain of 16,572.8 points (up 25.3%).

Phoenix Mill Financial Update...

Phoenix Mill net profit grew 8.2% YoY to Rs 3,134 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,897 million a year ago. Net sales rose 11.5% to Rs 9,041 million during the period as against Rs 8,106 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Phoenix Mill reported 9.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 13,263 million compared to net profit of Rs 14,725 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 50.8% to Rs 39,777 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Phoenix Mill, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 50.0.
