Johnson Controls Gains 8%; BSE CONSUMER DURABLES Index Up 1.2%

Johnson Controls share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 2,143.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 64,161.5 (up 1.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.8%) and ORIENT ELECTRIC (up 1.8%).

VAIBHAV GEMS (down 0.2%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Johnson Controls has moved up from Rs 1,274.3 to Rs 2,143.1, registering a gain of Rs 868.8 (up 68.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 44,173.0 to 64,161.5, registering a gain of 45.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 161.5%), Blue Star (up 126.4%) and Voltas (up 110.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,491.7 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 2.8%) and Bajaj Finserv (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Kotak Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,264.1 (down 0.1%). Bajaj Finance and IOC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,087.3 to 82,491.7, registering a gain of 17,404.4 points (up 26.7%).

Johnson Controls Financial Update...

Johnson Controls net profit grew 188.1% YoY to Rs 362 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 410 million a year ago. Net sales rose 75.6% to Rs 9,960 million during the period as against Rs 5,672 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Johnson Controls reported 7.8% increase in net profit to Rs -757 million compared to net loss of Rs 821 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 19.5% to Rs 19,187 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Johnson Controls, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 4019.2.
