SUZLON ENERGY share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 73.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 32,982.6 .

Among the top losers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are GAIL (down 0.7%) and ONGC (down 0.6%).

GUJARAT GAS (up 8.1%) and HPCL (up 1.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, SUZLON ENERGY has moved up from Rs 24.7 to Rs 73.5, registering a gain of Rs 48.9 (up 198.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 18,794.1 to 32,982.6, registering a gain of 75.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were HPCL (up 141.1%), GAIL (up 101.5%) and BPCL (up 101.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,548.9 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finserv (up 1.9%) and ITC (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,299.4 (up 0.3%). Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,075.8 to 82,548.9, registering a gain of 17,473.1 points (up 26.9%).

SUZLON ENERGY Financial Update...

SUZLON ENERGY net profit grew 199.6% YoY to Rs 3,023 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,009 million a year ago. Net sales rose 49.6% to Rs 20,216 million during the period as against Rs 13,510 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SUZLON ENERGY reported 77.1% decrease in net profit to Rs 6,604 million compared to net profit of Rs 28,873 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 9.4% to Rs 65,291 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SUZLON ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 116.5.
