HILTON METAL share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 82.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,787.3 (down 0.9%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 2.3%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (down 2.0%).

SKF India (up 0.9%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 0.6%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, HILTON METAL has moved down from Rs 139.5 to Rs 82.4, registering a loss of Rs 57.1 (down 41.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 44,593.2 to 72,787.3, registering a gain of 63.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 163.9%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 134.3%) and Bharat Electronics (up 118.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,185.2 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (up 2.6%) and Bajaj Finserv (up 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,145.1 (up 0.4%). Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,996.6 to 82,185.2, registering a gain of 17,188.6 points (up 26.4%).

HILTON METAL Financial Update...

HILTON METAL net profit fell 66.2% YoY to Rs 6 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 17 million a year ago. Net sales rose 22.9% to Rs 340 million during the period as against Rs 277 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, HILTON METAL reported 232.5% increase in net profit to Rs 59 million compared to net profit of Rs 18 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 24.6% to Rs 1,048 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HILTON METAL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 31.1.
