GOOD LUCK STEEL share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 1,117.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 32,463.7 (down 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are APOLLO TUBES (up 1.8%) and Vedanta (up 0.4%).

Hindustan Zinc (down 4.1%) and NMDC (down 1.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GOOD LUCK STEEL has moved up from Rs 578.4 to Rs 1,117.7, registering a gain of Rs 539.4 (up 93.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 21,357.5 to 32,463.7, registering a gain of 52.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 129.7%), Vedanta (up 95.4%) and NMDC (up 85.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,810.1 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Indusind Bank (up 2.5%) and Bharti Airtel (up 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,057.2 (up 0.2%). LTIMINDTREE and Wipro are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,996.6 to 81,810.1, registering a gain of 16,813.5 points (up 25.9%).

GOOD LUCK STEEL Financial Update...

GOOD LUCK STEEL net profit grew 25.9% YoY to Rs 360 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 286 million a year ago. Net sales rose 6.4% to Rs 9,131 million during the period as against Rs 8,580 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, GOOD LUCK STEEL reported 17.1% increase in net profit to Rs 878 million compared to net profit of Rs 750 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 17.6% to Rs 30,720 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GOOD LUCK STEEL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 26.2.
