CAPLIN POINT share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,864.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 42,768.5 (up 1.0%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are GSK Pharma (down 2.1%) and AARTI DRUGS (down 1.5%).

GRANULES INDIA (up 4.5%) and AJANTA PHARMA (up 3.4%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, CAPLIN POINT has moved up from Rs 1,018.7 to Rs 1,864.7, registering a gain of Rs 846.0 (up 83.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 27,859.6 to 42,768.5, registering a gain of 53.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were GRANULES INDIA (up 135.6%), Glenmark Pharma (up 122.6%) and SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 106.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,829.5 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Indusind Bank (up 2.5%) and Bharti Airtel (up 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,057.2 (up 0.2%). LTIMINDTREE and Wipro are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,996.6 to 81,829.5, registering a gain of 16,832.9 points (up 25.9%).

CAPLIN POINT Financial Update...

CAPLIN POINT net profit grew 19.9% YoY to Rs 1,249 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,042 million a year ago. Net sales rose 16.1% to Rs 4,590 million during the period as against Rs 3,953 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, CAPLIN POINT reported 22.2% increase in net profit to Rs 3,770 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,085 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 15.5% to Rs 14,667 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of CAPLIN POINT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 29.4.
