Swelect Energy share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,002.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 74,153.2 (up 0.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are L&T (up 2.3%) and ABB (up 1.7%).

TIMKEN INDIA (down 1.9%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Swelect Energy has moved up from Rs 556.7 to Rs 1,002.2, registering a gain of Rs 445.5 (up 80.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 44,700.9 to 74,153.2, registering a gain of 65.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 172.0%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 136.1%) and Bharat Electronics (up 129.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,889.5 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 2.3%) and Maruti Suzuki (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,068.9 (up 0.2%). L&T and Maruti Suzuki are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,433.3 to 81,889.5, registering a gain of 16,456.2 points (up 25.1%).

Swelect Energy Financial Update...

Swelect Energy net profit fell 32.7% YoY to Rs 66 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 98 million a year ago. Net sales rose 105.6% to Rs 1,138 million during the period as against Rs 554 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Swelect Energy reported 87.7% increase in net profit to Rs 536 million compared to net profit of Rs 285 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 1.2% to Rs 2,428 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Swelect Energy, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 27.6.
